Civil Resistance Action at the Pentagon
25 of our friends were arrested this morning (April 8th) at the Pentagon as they attempted to deliver a letter to Secretary of Defense Gates. They are currently being processed and are expected to be released later this afternoon. The "Operation DisArmageddon" at the Pentagon was the first civil resistance action this weekend and will be followed by another nonviolent direct action at the White House on Sunday, April 10 following the march from Dupont Circle.
